Legato improvisations
Demonstration of all of the solo instruments in Cinematic Studio Woodwinds performing improvised legato lines. Microphone settings are Close, OH & Main all set to -3dB, Room is at -0dB.
The producer and sample developer Cinematic Studio Series recorded a wide range of articulations for soloists and sections to give you flexibility and control over how you orchestrate your music. Articulations include sustains and long-form legato (with and without vibrato) repetitions, staccatissimo, staccato, sforzando, flutter tongue (flutes only), half and whole trills, measured repetitions, marcato, and playable runs.

As well as realism is constantly focused on simplicity and ease-of-use. With four discrete mic positions, as well as a separate “mix” option, CSW sounds incredible out-of-the-box. As with our other libraries you can just load one of the section patches and start playing, without any setup required. The GUI is streamlined and efficient, and the layout is functionally the same as for CSS – again the minimal number of patches makes it quick and easy to learn and use.
