How to Become a Field Recordist in 2021
For over three years, we’ve been making a living from our field recording business, Free to Use Sounds. It might surprise you that I had no experience in the sound industry before picking up my first recording in 2017. As a self-taught field recordist, I learned that gear isn’t so important in the beginning, be consistent, and marketing is crucial!
This video is meant as a beginner guide for you to begin your sound recording journey. We hope you enjoy this video and my insights as a novice sound recordist to a professional! Be sure to subscribe to our channel for more sound/audio content!
