First thing you should remember when mixing trap music is that everyone got their start somewhere, No one started out as a master of mixing technology.
Having the right mixing technology is a must when it comes to mixing rap music. Beat making is one part skill and one part the right technology. Of course, if you do not have the right sound engineering equipment you will not get the professional sound that you desire. When you are in the recording studio you want to be able to focus on making trap beats, not on faulty equipment or sub-par capabilities. So check your equipment before you start mixing.
