Melodyne – Version 4.2.4 adds Catalina Support and additional Optimizations
The reason for the update is the new Mac operating system macOS 10.15 Catalina, which brings far-reaching technical changes requiring adjustments to the software.
Melodyne lets you work with audio in an entirely new way. One that is musical, nifty, crystal-clear, and almost magical. Working with Melodyne is like being able to say to a singer “hold this note a bit longer”.
As part of the update, users will need to make some adjustments. The new macOS 10.15 Catalina brings far-reaching technical changes requiring attention from both developers and end-users alike with its various features that were previously unknown or unavailable in any other operating system before now!
Comment about Catalina
To avoid any disruption with any of your ongoing projects I recommend not update to Catalina. I personally do not upgrade until the software developer of the DAW, plugins, software, and tools I use announce that they are Catalina compatibility.
