Discovery Horror and Discovery Horror Deluxe is the second release in the Discovery Series. Discovery Horror features 100 new presets, 25 multis and 92 sound sources. Discovery Horror Deluxe features 125 new presets, 35 multis and 104 sound sources.
The sounds in the soundset are filled with eerie, haunting and mysterious sounds. All the sounds have modulation via the mod wheel and aftertouch, and in a lot of cases, the pitch wheel adds some ambiance and the CC2 some movement. The inspiration comes from shows like Westworld, Stranger Things, The Dark and in music from Trent Reznor, Charlie Clouser, and Mica Levi.
In the presets there is extensive use of the mod wheel, aftertouch, pitch well, and CC2 to enhance the sounds. Often sounds start as a fairly basic sound, but with the use of various controllers, you can add a lot of depth to your audio so that it can match your productions.
