Sound Magic Releases Acoustic Guitar, Featuring a Customized Martin D-28 Steel String Guitar

Sound Magic introduces Acoustic Guitar starring a customized version of Martin D-28 Steel String Guitar powered by the most advanced Neo Orchestra Hybrid Modelling Engine.

Modelling Can Do The Things That Sampling Technology Can Not

Modeling can do the things that sampling technology cannot. In Acoustic Guitar, musicians can start legato or glissando anytime they want, on any technique it has, not limited to the patch that has sampled legato. Also, they can change timbre in real-time as a modeled instrument. With modeling technology, users can get an instrument that sound keeps changing, not the fixed or dead as a sampled instrument. In audio demos, audiences can clearly hear how the instrument changes through time; give the sound unlimited possibilities and varieties.

Acoustic Guitar samples from a customized version of Martin D-28 Steel String Guitar. It has 2 sample sets as “Pick” and “Finger”. We sampled over 2900 samples, and over 10 techniques on this guitar. Finally we obtain a 4 GB guitar library. By using the latest Hybrid Modelling technology, our acoustic guitar could provide both authentic sound from a sample library and playability for a modelling instrument. The design philosophy of Acoustic Guitar is simple as “top notch steel guitar sound in an affordable price, while maximum the sound shaping possibilities to provide more choices on sound”

Hybrid Vibrato And Tremolo

Sound Magic further expanded its technology to achieve more authentic sounds from sampling without sacrificing creative control. For perspective, this means starting with non-vibrato and then fading in vibrato sustain while changing depth and speed. Or, you can also change Tremolo speed in real-time while optimizing control or to leverage human behaviors in the vibrato for enhanced realism in the final version.

Acoustic Guitar is powered by the latest Neo Orchestra Engine using Hybrid Modeling Technology. It offers both the authentic sound of sample library and the playability of Physical Modelling instruments. Acoustic Guitar provides musicians with everything they need for a great sounding guitar suitable for many different styles of sound.

Acoustic Guitar offers far more sound-shaping options than a sampling instrument with five bands parametric EQ and more control over the harmonic partial sounds. This means users can quickly change timbre with a simple turn of a knob or tune every single note with the Scala tuning system. Sound Magic also has made it possible to switch to different stops on a single track with our performance keyswitch system that allows Acoustic Guitar to be used in live performances without sacrificing quality or efficiency.

Bass Ray5 features a Music Man Stingray 5 Bass. The first bass designed by Ernie Ball Music Man, the Stingray 5 was unveiled in 1987 and has been an industry standard for extended range basses ever since. With its powerful punchy sound, the added flexibility of additional pickups and a comfortably contoured body the Stingray 5 satisfies even the most demanding of players. The Stingray 5 was the first bass to feature active electronics and advancements such as a 6-bolt neck joint, contoured body, superior neck truss-rod system, and rock-solid bridge. T

Deeply sampled over 21GB uncompressed contents, over 7,600 samples, with multi velocity layers and round robin samples, Bass Ray5 aims at precisely reproducing the versatile and modern bass sound. Electric Guitar S features a Schecter 7 Strings Guitar, one of the most famous Electric Guitar models that a lot of the modern metal and rock music is performed with. It delivers a musical blend of brightness, warmth, and mids. You will experience extreme clarity, robust mids, and amp-punishing output with Schecter.

Compared to the more common six strings guitar, the 7th string will add more in both bass and treble range. Also it will sound more solid and booming in bass and treble ends, this makes it very good use for modern metal, rock and other styles that require a “heavier” sound.

China Percussion is a complete collection of most Chinese percussion instruments, including BianZhong (Chinese Chime Bells), Chinese Gong, Chinese Drums, Cymbals, Qing and a percussion set for Beijing Opera.

Bianzhong is an ancient Chinese musical instrument consisting of a set of bronze bells, played melodically. China is the earliest country to manufacture and use musical chimes. They are also called Chime Bells. These sets of chime bells were used as polyphonic musical instruments and some of these bells have been dated at between 2,000 to 3,600 years old. They were hung in a wooden frame and struck with a mallet. Using a wooden hammer and a rod to beat the bronze bell can make different pitches. Along with the stone chimes called bianqing, they were an important instrument in China’s ritual and court music going back to ancient times.

In Chinese music, there are many different percussion instruments; we carefully recorded most of them, including Qing, Bo, Kuaiban, Bang, Muyu, Drums, Cymbals and Bells.

A gong is an East and Southeast Asian musical percussion instrument that takes the form of a flat, circular metal disc which is hit with a mallet.

Percussion also plays an important role in Beijing Opera so we carefully prepare a set of percussion for traditional Beijing Opera. We also recorded the real performance and made them into loops so it can be quickly used in musician’s project.
