Inspired by the pioneers of the Delta Blues sound, modern Blues artists often blend elements of the original with elements of Rock. The result is a modern take on the Blues but with a very retro sound and Blues Rock captures that vibe in all its glory.
This Elastik library is built around 5 extended construction kits and, with a ton of attitude, a bucket full of authentic Blues riffs, and a rhythm section born to groove, it’s a comprehensive stage for your next Blues inspired project.
Combining Vintage Vibe with A Modern Edge
With 3.6 GB of sample data, and nearly 800 loops and phrases in total, each of these kits provides 5 main musical sections plus dedicated intro and outro elements. This makes the construction kits very flexible and full song arrangements can be built with ease. Instrumentation is dominated by electric guitars, with two rhythm parts as well as slide and lead guitar parts. The guitars are supported by acoustic drums, electric bass, and guitar FX licks. Tempos across the five kits span 74 to 120 BPM. The usual high standard of the recording signal chain ensures pristine sound quality but, above all, these sounds ooze attitude.
Flexible Construction Kit Format
For the electric guitar, each phrase is provided as two versions. An amped version provides a Blues Rock tone that’s ready to mix, while a line (DI) version allows you to add your own choice of guitar amp modeling and effects. The DI and amp phrases are also provided for the bass and can be easily blended to create the perfect bass tone for your project. The amped bass recordings are big, bold, and warm with plenty of bottom-end. Drum parts are provided as pre-mixed loops for immediate use and as individual loops for bass drum, sub-bass drum, snare, snare top, snare bottom, hi-hat, toms, ride, crash, room, and room percussion so, if required, you can fully customize your own drum mix. And, of course, Elastik’s powerful tempo and pitch manipulation tools allow you to easily fit the sample content into your specific project.
