Colour, Polish, Finish – Dynamic Autoformer Plugin
SounDevice Digital (part of United Plugins) released a new dynamic plugin treating your audio in three stages.
Autoformer, this unique dynamic tool was created to save your time and treat your tracks‘ dynamic with minimum effort. It was made to improve your tracks and also to fix unbalanced performances. To iron the dynamic imperfections.
Thanks to Autoformer‘s responsive photorealistic 3D graphic user interface, working with the plugin is a piece of cake. The interface is divided into three sections that represent the processing stages.
Colour
The first processing stage sets the gain and adds color and warmth using a selection of three analog PREAMP types.
Polish
The core feature (BALANCER) is an intelligent volume rider. It is meant to be almost inaudible. Leveler sets the amount of automatic volume compensation while the Seer knob controls the look-ahead parameter – in other words, sets the latency of the track so that Leveller could act as precisely as possible (so do not tweak this parameter during playback).
Finish
To soothe the dynamics of your track without changing your signal’s spectral character engage the fast modern COMPRESSOR. No color, just fix. And yes, there‘s also the fourth section which simply controls the output volume.
