Some of the toys sampled date way back and would be hard to find if you try to buy them elsewhere. UVI did send a review copy with no strings attached.
Installation
After purchase, you receive the needed codes to register the product on UVI and issue through UVI an iLok license that you need to activate before use.
Sound
You receive a complete collection of all kind of western children’s toys and the noise or music they make. UVI also includes loops and phrases. When you load different instruments, you have a sound source to put through additional external effects or everyday toy-instrument. Overall you receive 317 virtual instruments, 978 presets, 29 kits, 1322 loops, 18,950 samples.

For me, the next step would be to run the sounds through either external plugins or if Falcon is used through the included convincing effects and the through external plugins. I did also sample with my old hardware sampler from AKAI, E-MU, and Yamaha and got excellent results that I could play across the whole keyboard. If you do not own a hardware sampler, you can still buy one or use one of the many available software samplers.
User interface & Usability
The Interface is rather simple and compared to current UVI product clean. You load the instrument, and you see the instrument on a picture and some effects you can apply. Within Falcon, you can use additional results in the effects tab.

Rating: Five out of five stars
The included instruments in Complete Toy Museum are a fantastic source for sounds design and creating new instruments for example for horror movies. Alternative and if you do not wish to do the processing through external plugins and sampler you get a vast collection of all kind of toy and their sounds and noises they make.
If you are into sound design and creating your samples, this collection of Toys is highly recommended as it offers you access to all those great sounds that only wait to be mangled through additional effects and tools.
