Symphonic Destruction: A Sonic Deconstruction
Heavyocity Media has announced the release of Heavyocity Symphonic Destruction. Heavyocity’s Symphonic Destruction is Heavyocity’s sonic deconstruction of the orchestra. Heavyocity is known for its high quality, Kontakt Library which is available for instant download and use in any DAW.
Heavyocity has created a set of powerful hybrid materials – from Full Orchestra Portatos saturated with vintage gear to Herrmann-Esque detuned staccatos to the darkest, deepest soundscapes you’ve ever heard – using the epic approach of Damage 2 in orchestral sound.
Symphonic Destruction is a huge collection of creative playable instruments and hybrid designers, with over 230 shots, 440 unique sources, and thousands of affected and processed samples gathered from some of the world’s top sound stages. Add some drama with the ride cymbal, timpani, and strings. To give it a more contemporary feel, the snare drum was replaced by a crash cymbal. Then there are three layers of different instruments on top of that—a brass section, orchestra bells, and chimes—for even more depth. Finally comes a Designer and Performer section, which really makes the whole thing come together.
Add in 144 tempo-synced motif loops, as well as nearly 100 tempo-synchronized rhythmic pedals, and SD’s ever-expanding reservoir of hybrid orchestral content pushes cinematic sound into new territory.
Thrilling traditional combinations, creative sound design, and some of the gnarliest Braams ever built—Symphonic Destruction unleashes a new generation of massive orchestral composition. The orchestra will never be the same after this.
