Sound
The Unfinished’s Nordsund bundle combines nervous, low-spirited vibes to give us tones for melancholy Scandinavian tones. Anyone who was ever in the Scandinavian countries will share their experiences with the open and friendly Nordic people, in the movies we like to draw a dark picture of what happens there.
Nordsund is a collection of presets designed for u-he’s Zebra2 and ZebraH. The bundle combines two single products Blood and Gold. You receive the included 4 products 600 patches with the Zebra Nordsund Bundle.
The included sounds are extremely cool sounding and ready for your next score. You can play all inspired by Nordic vibe basses, pads, sequences, percussion and textures. All you need for dark, taut organic vibes.
Gold is all about common, tense underscore synth sounds. Blood includes experimental, boundary-pushing patches, with a more atonal, ominous feel. The included Dark Editions are for u-he’S ZebraHZ synth and are even darker and deceptive.
The vibe from these patches can be combined with sounds similar to the productions of Ólafur Arnalds. It fits perfectly in a score with Spitfire’s Ólafur Arnalds different products, Cinematique Instruments, and Sound Dust Kontakt libraries. If you ever bought a Ólafur Arnalds inspired product this library is right for you.
Rating: Four out of five stars
The Unfinished’s Nordsund bundle are lovely sounds and fit very well into the Nordic sound’s spectrum. If your next project is to score for a Nordic noir movie, just like the sound or you are a bit Scandiphile you will be happy with the sad tone of the Nordsund bundle.
