Wavefonix New Eurorack VCDLFO Module
New Eurorack VCDLFO Module
This versatile VCDLFO adds a lot of powerful modulation options to your modular system. Whilst most LFOs include just the standard and rather boring waveforms, such as triangle and ramp.
The VCDLFO takes things further and can generate eight 16-bit waveforms; including two different types of random waves; essentially making it an LFO and random voltage generator in one module.
VCDLFO Features
- Versatile VCDLFO and random voltage generator in one module.
- Eight different 16-bit waveforms including two types of random waves.
- Frequency range of 0.05Hz (20s) to 25Hz (40ms) i.e. nine octaves.
- Tempo button allowing the user to manually tap to set the frequency of the VCDLFO.
- A sync input also allows the tempo to be set by an external gate signal.
- Many modulation possibilities including FM, Waveform Select, Offset and Depth. All CV inputs are 0V to 10V and are summed with the front panel controls.
- The VCDLFO uses 16-bit wave data with interpolation to give the smoothest possible result. Similarly, intermediate calculations are done at 16-bit accuracy. The final PDM output is 12-bit.
- LED indicating frequency of output waveform.
- Ergonomic design.
- Hand-built and tested in the UK.
VCDLFO Waveforms
- Ramp (up)
- Ramp (down)
- Square
- Triangle
- Sine
- Sweep
- Random levels (similar to the classic sample & hold waveform)
- Random slopes (moves linearly between points)
The VCDLFO has an overall frequency range of 0.05Hz (20s) to 25Hz (40ms) i.e. nine octaves. It can generate tempos between 3BPM and 1500BPM, which is useful for a range of different applications.
Another useful feature is the Tempo button, that the user can manually tap to set the frequency of the VCDLFO. The frequency will remain at the set tempo until the frequency knob is moved.
A sync input also allows the tempo to be set by an external gate signal.
Other front panel controls include Frequency, Waveform Select (for cycling through the different waveforms), Offset (for adding a DC offset to the waveform between ±5V) and Depth (essentially a level control to vary the amplitude of the waveform).
The Offset and Depth functions interact in an interesting way to allow bipolar and unipolar waveforms of either polarity (positive or negative) to be produced. The Offset feature functions when the Depth is set to less than full.
The VCDLFO can also be modulated in many different ways to create even more complex waveforms. Specific CV inputs include FM, Waveform Select, Offset and Depth. All CV inputs have a range of 0V to 10V. The front panel controls are summed with the CV inputs.

Poly-8 Voltage-Controlled Oscillator (VCO)
Poly-8 VCO
Wavefonix launched their latest eurorack module the Poly-8 VCO. This new eurorack module is now available to order from the online store. Poly-8 Voltage-Controlled Oscillator (VCO) represents the first in a line of 8-voice polyphonic modules developed by Wavefonix that will be released in the coming months.
The Poly-8 VCO module is one of a kind. It is a premium polyphonic oscillator bank, comprising eight CEM3340 (Rev. G) VCOs in a clean, compact and ergonomic design. Each VCO features a vast range of modulation capabilities, including hard sync, PWM, 1V/octave and exponential/linear FM.
Each VCO provides simultaneous ramp, triangle and pulse waveform outputs. The authentic CEM3340 architecture offers an instantly recognisable, rich analog sound found in many famous synthesizers from the past, such as the Prophet 5 etc.
- Premium polyphonic oscillator bank comprising eight CEM3340 (Rev. G) VCOs.
- Three simultaneous, buffered 10Vpp (±5V) waveforms per VCO, including DC-coupled ramp, triangle and pulse outputs, with controllable PW and PWM CV inputs (0V to 10V). Pulse output is derived from the CEM3340’s triangle waveform using external circuitry.
- Individual coarse and fine frequency control knobs provide an adjustable frequency range of more than ten octaves (approximately 8Hz to 16KHz) for each VCO.
- Each VCO has a wide range of modulation inputs; including hard sync (comparator-based), PWM, 1V/octave and exponential/linear FM (switchable).
- Ergonomic design.
- Hand-built and tested in the UK.

3310 VC Envelope Generator (VCEG)
The 3310 VC Envelope Generator (VCEG) is a more advanced version of Wavefonix standard 3310 Envelope Generator (EG).
Wavefonix eurorack module offers the same four-stage design, but with dedicated CV inputs for the attack, decay, sustain and release. Other additional features of the Wavefonix module includes a manual gate button and an inverted output for some unusual modulation possibilities.
3310 VC Envelope Generator (VCEG) Features
- AS3310-based architecture.
- The controllable exponential attack, decay, and release with dedicated CV inputs (0V to 10V).
- Controllable linear sustain with dedicated CV input (0V to 10V).
- The CV inputs are summed with the front panel controls.
- Manual gate button.
- Comparator-based gate input allowing different types of waveforms to trigger the module.
- Gate through output, allowing for multiple EGs to be chained together.
- Retrigger input for modulation sources such as LFOs etc.
- Non-inverted and inverted outputs for additional modulation versatility.
- Green LED indicator provides a visual representation of the output level.
- Ergonomic design.
- Hand-built and tested in the UK.
Also included is a through output for chaining multiple modules together and a dedicated retrigger input.

Wavefonix New 3-Channel Stereo Panning Mixer
3-Channel Stereo Panning Mixer
This eurorack audio mixer is perfect for adding stereo and panning capabilities to your modular system. It serves as an output module for reducing modular-level signals down to line level when connecting to an external device, such as a mixing console etc.
It has three separate mono channels; each with its own level attenuator and panning control. Two separate pairs of unbalanced stereo outputs (L/R) are included, along with line-level optimized 3.5mm and 1/4″ headphone outputs with separate level control for monitoring your audio patch. The panning controls affect both the main stereo outputs and headphone outputs. The gain of the main stereo outputs is approximately unity-gain; varying very slightly depending on the position of the panning controls. The mixer uses the OPA2134PA IC for a low-noise, high-fidelity audio path.
