Scary Wind Textures Exterior & Interior Wind Sound Effects
Scary Wind Textures Exterior & Interior Wind Sound Effects
A few weeks ago we lived on the Turkish coast in a town called Bodrum. The wind was a big advantage there. Okay, if you’re a field recordist it’s great, but a cyclist will likely tell you otherwise. I was a cyclist and always felt like I was riding against the wind. No fun at all 🙂
One night the wind started to grow. Our apartment was in the hills, surrounded by trees and away from traffic.
Another bonus was no rain and I packed my gear and walked around the buildings to pick up those very creepy wind sounds. I always put the microphones very close to the trees and in open fields opposite the trees. For the exterior files, check the filename WINDVege, Exterior ….. I included six different tracks.
Later in the apartment, the wind was still strong and I opened the window just a little to get that creepy wind noise through the gap in the door. To find these shots just search for WINDInt, Interior …. I also included 6 tracks.

NOTE: If Windows users had problems importing files it’s because the file name in Windows have a character limit of 250. You have to shorten the files. If you use the good old Total Commander it works like a breeze. Bandcamp puts library titles and account name in front of each file. I can’t control or change that. Sorry for the extra work. Mac has no character limit.
I hope you have fun with the new sounds and thank you for two new monthly Bandcamp supporters. All Bandcamp supporters getting all free or premium sound libraries automatically loaded into the account.

If you’re looking for an authentic soundscape of Seoul, look no further than the new Hangang Railway Bridge sound library from freetousesounds. So if you’re looking for a powerful and unique sonic experience, be sure to check out this library!
Bridges Spanning the Han River
When visiting Seoul, it’s impossible to miss the numerous bridges spanning the Han River. The Hangang Railway Bridge was the first of these bridges, beginning construction in July 1900. The bridge was an essential link in the country’s railway system, connecting the northern and southern parts of the Korean Peninsula.
Today, the Hangang Railway Bridge is still in use, carrying both freight and passengers. However, it has been joined by a number of other bridges, including the Seongsu Bridge and the Namgangung Bridge. These newer bridges are not only larger and more imposing than the Hangang Railway Bridge, but they also have a greater capacity to carry traffic. As a result, the Hangang Railway Bridge has become something of historical curiosity, a reminder of a time when Seoul was a much smaller city.
