Animation Station requires specific MIDI routing configurations that are different for every DAW since Animation Station is a MIDI generator. In some DAWs it loads directly as a MIDI Effect, or in a device chain. In others, it will load as an instrument plugin (VST2, VST3, AAX, AU). For all DAWs, it must be routed to an instrument that can receive MIDI and that makes a sound. Detailed instructions can be found in the manual.
