ASMR recordings are a new and original way to enrich your scores with new levels of madness. With over 800 samples of unique ASMR content, you have a swiss-knife of tools that will allow you to combine and create almost anything you want as a layer to your music.
Create a unique sensation on your compositions by adding ASMR content. The difference between this and ordinary samples is that when heard with headphones, the listener will be transported to a world of unique sensations – as if they were in another place. 8Dio Free ASMR is not an ordinary library, every single sound was created with that in mind. You add the samples to your musical pot, and the result is a new sensation where you drive the listener to your world.
Over a couple of months, 8Dio asked the community to submit ASMR content to create a library that would explore these types of recordings. Thanks to you, 8Dio collected over 8 GB of content, edited it, cleaned, and organized in a unique library that has everything from human whispers to messing around with everyday things. ASMR is short for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. The recordings are intended to be heard with headphones, producing a unique tingling sensation to the listener.
Free ASMR is a follow-up to 8Dio recommended Free Angels, Free Radicals, and Free You libraries, which were done in collaboration with the awesome community of users. The idea with 8Dio’s FREE ASMR Project was to create the largest ASMR instrument. All 8Dio asked was that people recorded/design five or more ASMR sounds, whether it was percussive, melodic, or atonal. 8Dio took all the contributions and put them into a single sample library. They edited, programmed, designed, and distributed the entire collection and also added a large chunk of personal materials to it. With the end result being a large assortment of quiet, detailed, and spine-tingling instruments. No restrictions, no rules, no limits.

Warm Studio Woodwinds: Solo Clarinet
Warm Studio Woodwinds is the latest creation in 8Dio’s range of contemporary studio ensembles. It is derived from 8Dio’s Intimate Studio Woodwinds library. With over 160 hours of session material recorded at Scotland’s Premiere Recording Studio – Gorbals Sound, and countless more in post-production, Warm Studio Woodwinds continues 8Dio’s notion of a fully modular ensemble.
Unprecedented control over your sound
The sound of the Warm Studio Woodwinds Solo Clarinet is easily customizable with the wealth of options in the advanced user interface. You’ll have extreme control over the stereo image with individual volume, panning, output routing, and the new distance control, enabling you to freely blend between a direct signal and a more spacious and ambient microphone position.
Every articulation needed for your next composition
Warm Studio Woodwinds Solo Clarinet contains a vast collection of 26 articulations covering everything you need to create authentic-sounding woodwind melodies. Each articulation is sorted into four main categories making them all quickly and easily accessible from the inbuilt browser. Choose from articulations such as a Staccato, Staccatissimo, Sustains, Trills and Legato from the Traditional Category. Or choose more nuanced techniques such as Measured Tremolo and Tempo Sync’d phrase such as Tuplets and Triplets from 8Dio’s Performance category. Finally, the Arcs and Effects categories contain Dynamically layered Arcs of varying lengths and a range of effects such as directional Runs, Scoops, and Flutter Tonguing. The User interface allows you to load and unload the articulations of your choosing, so you only have to have to load the sounds you need for your project.
The Solo Clarinet soulfully blends into any mix
The Legato articulation is incredibly agile and can play almost anything you throw at it. We recorded each player in this series simultaneously so that each musician would be working with one another and adapt their playing styles and coloration to match the overall sound of the ensemble. Recording each player this way means that no matter your combination of instruments, the Warm Studio Woodwind instruments will fit with any ensemble and beautifully blend together. So whether you compose for an ensemble setting or virtuoso Solo Clarinet lines, Warm Studio Woodwinds Solo Clarinet will sound excellent in any setting.

Terminus is the result of over 18 months of deep production and contains four different types of core instrument groups, Percussive/Drums, Epic/Hybrid, Neo-Orchestral and Synth-Based. All four core groups each contain seven banks, Hits, Slams, Sub Hits, Short and Long Falls, and Short and Long Risers.
In addition, Terminus contains an array of new instrument categories, including 4 banks of Ear Candy. Ear Candy is designed to enhance your existing compositions with big, beautiful, ethereal, and angelic textural elements. We also created two additional banks of Strums. The Solo Designer instruments are a massive collection of thousands of real cello & violin phrases. The intention of the library was to sample completely realistic solo violin & solo cello by creating an incredible collection of musical phrases.
8Dio programmed the library in a way that gives you maximum control over the phrases and literally allows you to sculpt 100% realistic solo violin & solo cello performances. It was deliberately designed to support, augment, and in some cases replace existing solo violin libraries. Essentially this library takes over where normal multi-samples (ex. legato, sustains) can’t perform.
