Shared System Tutorials – Tempi

In this episode we’ll introduce Tempi for some basic synchronisation of the whole system. The video has links to more in depth demo’s. This one is intended to get started and to have some fun with the Shared System Plus without having to dive into the manual. Tempi will drive Maths envelopes (shaping volumes and kicks), it will trigger a rene sequence and synchronize Morphagene for loop recording.

With a bit of patience, you’ll be able to stack different layers into huge rhythmic soundscapes. There’s also a cool patch idea where I use the DPO’s final output to FM modulate OSC1. You’ll get really weird new sounds. Finally, Tempi will also sync Echophon & Erbe-Verb.
