Installation
You download the provided archives and unpack them to get started. I did as many others with a large collection of sounds and noises add the included WAV files to my catalog and sound management tool Soundminer.
Sound
Town & Country delivers as a wide range of sounds for creating a convincing and realistic town and country ambiances in high-end quality. Included are sounds that sit very well in the background to provide the glue to make a scene believable by the audiences.
The background noises present in any town are vital to embed the audience into the adventure the talent is experiencing. Without these kind of sounds audiences will experience a scene as somehow wrong or fake. Included are sounds of a campfire, farm animals, wildlife, humans, working sounds, traffic, fire, water, woodlots, windmills and background noises. Overall 200 files are included ready to be added to your sound effects pool.
The produced sounds have a naturalistic feel & human touch which makes them very valuable to contribute to a believable story when you score to picture.
User interface & Usability
The product Town & Country as such does not include any UI; you need to use your main sound browsing and sound collection administration tool. You receive an extensive collection of WAV files, to use the content efficiently you should look at tools like Soundminer or AudioFinder.
