Review of VENTO: Modern Woodwinds Review by Heavyocity
Like it’s influencing predecessors NOVO (Strings) and FORZO (brass), VENTO is Heavyocity’s next product in a full orchestra collection that is very different from the classical libraries available today. The extremely successful Novo was extended by Novo Pack 03 Synthetic Strings, NOVO PACK 02 – Rhythmic Textures and Intimate Textures Novo Pack 1. While Novo was their first orchestral like library which got the highest ratings you can see how Heavyocity improves with each of these hybrid orchestral library releases. I really hope that we will see expansion for VENTO. Next a similar enigmatical Modern Percussion library pls!
VENTO includes novel ensembles, instruments, and articulations. VENTO enables you to add moving and complex textures to your next modern scores or trailer. Starting with NOVO, continued with FORZO Heavyocity exclusive in-house shaping methods is unmatched in the industry. Heavyocity did send a review copy with no strings attached.
Sound
The all-new and unique VENTO includes over 160 essential articulations (with some standard and of extended articulations). As with NOVO and FORZO, you want to purchase this library for its hybrid sounds and tempo-synced loops. The woodwinds ensembles allow you to play an enormous low-end Contrabass Ensemble (contrabass clarinet and contrabassoon).
Woods Higher Ranges
In the higher ranges, you can play piccolo, flute, clarinet, oboe in an Ensemble. The VENTO engine is prepared to support you in sound design. The sound design varies based on the selection articulations, phrases, and layering and shaping options.
VENTO Engine
The applied engine is a far-reaching core element of VENTO and offers you adapting to your skills a comprehensive spectrum of sounds you can create. Even when you stay with the basic features you can produce deep and fully useable sounds, loops and textures. When you dive into the engine you can produce your own signature texture sounds. All sits very well in a mix of different tracks.

Woodwind Designer
Woodwind Designer – this instrument is for deep sound design. It includes Heavyocitie’s Cycle an excellent rhythmic tool with a tremendous variety of potentialities.
Traditional
Traditional – these instruments are for the realistic performance of orchestral woodwind sections. The woodwinds instruments are sampled as a section of a full woodwind ensemble.
