Error Instruments Liquid Glitcher
I am unquestionably against any form of violence. However, the new Liquid Glitcher from Error Instruments is described as an Ultraviolance Oscillator (including the intended spelling error). So I added a ! in front of it, which means ‘not’ in many programming languages. So let’s just stick to audio and then it will be clear where the name comes from. Liquid Glitcher is the ultimate glitching, squeaking, screaming, and grinding eurorack module for all your sound design needs.
And while its purpose seems limited in a musical patch, it’s also a great source for luxury electronic percussion. Error Instruments creator Paul Tas has showcased Liquid Glitcher in its raw and pure form in many videos, so I wanted to focus on musical applications. In terms of musical applications, the Liquid Glitcher can be used for creating unique and dynamic rhythms, adding depth and texture to a composition. Its versatility allows for experimentation and improvisation, making it an exciting tool for electronic music producers and performers alike. When considering its potential for live performance, the Liquid Glitcher holds its own against other popular electronic percussion instruments, with its unique sound characteristics and intuitive interface. In a performer and launchpad comparison, the Liquid Glitcher offers a distinctive and innovative approach to electronic percussion.
