The first time I realized the capabilities of 32 bit float in post-production – my mind was blown! If you’ve been following our journey for the past year then you’ve seen the Zoom F6 pop up in nearly all our videos and photos. Since November 2019, I’ve used this recorder in all types of situations, however, I’ve never shown how different 24 bit vs 32 bit is!
Let’s be honest clipping audio is the worst! No matter which way you cut it, distorted audio is terrible to deal with in post! In this video, you’ll see me in a real situation of loud vocals, lots of noise, and the gain cranked up! On the flip side, I’ll showcase the magic of hidden sounds with the audio recorded too low at 32 bit!
