Voice of Wind: Adey by Soundiron Now Available

Voice Of Wind: Adey version 1.1 is now available for Native Instruments’ free Kontakt Player 6, Komplete Kontrol and S-Series Keyboards. Adey is the first volume in our modular female solo vocal series Voice Of Wind. This library is the perfect addition for songwriters and musicians wanting new colors to add to their solo vocal palette. Soundiron also included 1,013 phrases and breaths in unlocked WAV format. You can use them outside of Kontakt in any DAW, sampler, plugin or hardware unit that supports 24bit/48kHz stereo WAV files.

The multi-talented Adey Bell is an American vocalist, pianist, film composer, and actor. Born under the “Big Sky” of Montana, her music reflects this expanse. As a singer-songwriter, she blends classically influenced piano composition with raw lyrical reflective intimacy.

Voice of Wind: Adey is an ethereal and beautifully flexible solo vocal library for Kontakt. Her rich, nimble and dusky vocal character effortlessly fuses classical, pop, folk, blues, lounge and jazz vocal styles. This volume will be the perfect addition to your collection with a flexible UI that will allow you to get the most realism possible and a stunningly soulful and intimate tone.

This 2.6 GB library includes 3,114 samples, featuring sustain, staccato (8x round-robin) and true legato chromatic articulations for 6 core vowels: Ah, Eh, Ee, Mm, Oh and Oo. It also includes over a thousand live dynamic, melodic phrases organized by mood, key, and tempo. This huge collection of live phrases are divided into 100bpm and 140bpm tempos for both Bright and Dark categories, as well as a special 120bpm Hummed category. Soundiron also included 20 sound-designed custom FX and ambient presets to expand your creative palette.

The Black Speech

Atelier Series Fauxgorian is a delicious legato male vocal release designed for cinematic and electronic contexts. Produced by producer/composer Brad Jerkins, Fauxgorian’s initial aim was to produce a vocal legato library that was a bit more unconventional. We recorded three different vowels (ahh, mmm, ooo) and processed the recordings to achieve a unique, wide, quasi-Gregorian flavor that can suit a variety of modern settings. We also provided two natural solo legato patches (ooo, mmm).

Also included is Pagan Ritual – a brooding, deep, organic instrument that works great for heavy, amoebic basslines. Perpetuum – key-switch patch housing five presets of evolving vowel sustains processed with a bespoke array of hardware pedals. The Black Speech – a collection of processed whisper chants both solo and faux ensemble (try not to use these in a track at 3 AM).

Requires full retail version of Kontakt 5.8.1 or higher, the Free Kontakt Player is NOT supported.

What Is The Atelier Series?

Oftentimes during the research and experimental phase of development, Musical Sampling creates instruments that don’t necessarily belong to a bigger, themed release. Instead of attempting to shoehorn them into a future release or trying to construct a comprehensive product around it, Musical Sampling decided to create the Atelier Series so that other composers can enjoy their explorations in sample development as well.
