Mimik OD | Pitch & Time Repeater with OD
Mimik OD is the MK2 manifestation of Puremagnetik’s shifting time and pitch processor. It is a transient and tonal manipulation machine created to help you travel the microsonic aspects of whatever you feed it.
Mimik OD records your incoming audio to a small buffer that you can tweak, bend, and stutter to completely alter your rhythms and sounds. OD stands for “Mystery Overdrive”. With the OD button, Mimik will generate different sounds each time it is pressed. It is a swift and simple way to create new impersonating patterns of the incoming audio.
Mimik OD’s buffer can be trimmed or randomly tempered. It allows you to pitch-stretch without changing duration and time-shift without changing pitch. You can reverse, chop, freeze and re-phrase almost anything. Mimik OD can be used for subtle articulation nuances or more intense beat processing.
