SideMinder ZL is a unique plugin for increasing the stereo width of a mix without “over widening” that can result in loss of sounds when mixed to mono. SideMinder ZL is streamlined, zero-latency version of the SideMinder ME plugin.
SideMinder ZL is the newest plugin in the SiteMinder line. SideMinder ZL works in real-time (zero latency) it cannot anticipate the audio the same way the SideMinder and SideMinder ME studio versions do. It still works very well and maybe the ideal solution if you need to record with processing. The developer describes it as “SideMinder ZL is not a compressor – or even a Mid/Side compressor. It is a “differential compressor” that controls the relationship between the mid (mono) and side (stereo) information in a stereo track.”
The plugin SideMinder ZL is a 64-bit VST2, VST3 and AAX plugin for PC and VST2, VST3, AU and AXX plugin for Mac, OS 10.11 or higher.
