SounDevice digital introduces a new tool managing the sub-bass frequencies. SubBass Doctor 808 is here for (not just) all hip-hop and electronic music producers. Without the right treatment, sub-bass frequencies can get out of control. Although they are inaudible in some environments, wrongly mixed low frequencies can even destroy big PA systems.
SubBass Doctor 808 is created to treat sub-bass frequencies that can be hardly mixed in home studios or while traveling. It is great for HipHop, EDM, and all electronic music producers. But also suitable for mixing five-string bass and double bass.
SBD808 filters the lowest subs, adds extra subs on healthy frequencies and it adds parallel saturation to accentuate the subs.
Treating the lowest frequencies is not an easy task. And in some listening environments, it is almost impossible.
