The idea of the tool is that there is generally enough data in a patch to determine if it belongs in ‘Synth Bass’ or ‘Pads + Strings’ or <whatever>, so OmniTag examines that and matches to Spectrasonics’ standard categories/types. The result is your third party libraries are now ‘conformed’ to Spectrasonics’ standards and are easily searchable in the Patch Browser.
