The string section of Abbey Road was a landmark in music history. Abbey Road Two: Iconic Strings Core Vs Abbey Road Two: Iconic Strings Professional
Abbey Road Two comes in two different sizes, with the smaller option being Core at 46GB. However, if you want all of its iconic strings then go for Pro which weighs 292 gigs!
The Core editions have a total of 107 articulations (80 individual + 12 Ensemble). The pro version comes with 112 different Articulations, (85 Individual + 12 Ensemble).
The core offers no portamento in the legato articulations, while the pro offers portamento in legato articulations.
Non-profit organization: Mics Matter
I did see a funny comment in a forum, to give it a spin: Mics Matter is a non-profit organization that encourages people to get involved in making music, by teaching them how with free venues across the globe. Non-profit organizations are important because they help those who don’t have any resources or knowledge on what it takes for success as an artist.
Still, for me, a variety of mix positions and mixes make a huge difference and increase the flexibility of a library.
Modern and Vintage Microphones
In the world of audio, there are two main types of microphones: digital and analog. Analog microphones have been around for centuries, and they work by converting sound waves into electrical signals. This type of microphone is typically more durable and less expensive than digital models.
However, analog microphones can produce static and other unwanted noise, making them less ideal for recording music or other sensitive audio. Digital microphones, on the other hand, use a process called Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) to convert sound waves into digital data. This data can then be stored on a computer or other digital device. Digital microphones are often more accurate than analog models, but they can be more expensive and fragile.
Whether you’re looking for a microphone for live performances or studio recording in the world of audio, there are two main types of microphones: digital and analog. Analog microphones have been around for centuries, and they work by converting sound waves into electrical signals. This type of microphone is typically more durable and less expensive than digital models. However, analog microphones can produce static and other unwanted noise, making them less ideal for recording music mentally,
Included microphone positions and mixes do matter when you need a different tone and vibe for your track or background music.
The biggest difference is in the available microphone signals two with core and 12 with the pro version. The pro version also includes advanced and simple mix views and 5 microphone groups (pro only).
Besides the portamento in the legato articulations, the main difference for me and a reason to select the pro version is that the pro version includes more mic and additional mixes.
How to Make an Epic Album and Score?
You might be surprised to learn that making an epic album doesn’t require a large budget or a professional studio. In fact, all you really need is a vision and a bit of creativity. Here are a few tips to help you get started.
First, it’s important to choose the right genre for your project. If you’re aiming for an epic sound, then you’ll want to steer clear of pop or hip-hop. Instead, focus on genres like classical, rock, or metal. These genres tend to be more cinematic and can provide the perfect backdrop for your story.
Next, you’ll need to create compelling melodies and arrangements. This is where having a vision comes in handy. Once you have a clear idea of what a little bit of hard work and a lot of creativity, you can create an epic album that rivals the best Hollywood scores.
With the help of Abbey Road Two – Iconic Strings you’ll be able to make your own epic soundtrack. The players are very skilled with their instruments, and they have been recorded in a way that only an iconic recording studio would know-how!

Thanks to Spitfire Audio’s extensive knowledge about virtual string libraries, there is no better place than here when it comes time to bring out those high-quality orchestral elements into your compositions. You will not regret making changes on that next album or film score!
The most important thing about making an epic album is the music. It should be something that speaks to the soul, that gets under your skin and makes you feel. The lyrics should be powerful and emotive, telling a story that resonates with the listener.
The production should be huge and sweeping, with grandiose arrangements and stirring orchestrations. But most importantly, the album should have a cohesive vision, one that ties all of the elements together into a powerful whole. By following these steps, you can create an album that is truly epic in scope and ambition.
Unique Sonic Character & Performance
The sonic character of an instrument is determined by its size, shape, and materials. The size and shape of an instrument affect its resonant frequencies, which in turn alters the harmonics that are produced when the instrument is played.
The materials an instrument is made from also affect its sound. For example, a wooden flute has a different timbre than a metal one. In addition to its sonic character, an instrument’s performance is also determined by how it is made.
The way an instrument is constructed can impact its playability, durability, and even how it produces sound. As a result, the sonic character and performance of an instrument are both heavily influenced by its design and construction.
Iconic Strings will give you the sound quality, performance, and unique sonic character of a professional orchestra – all for an affordable price. And with its large range of articulations & techniques included in one package, there is no need to look any further than this library when you’re ready to create something epic!
The library offers music makers the choice between highly detailed composition and new easy-to-use technology that assists in creating their own sound.

It’s what grabs your attention when you first hear about a car startup, and what keeps you coming back for more. It’s the sound of power, and it’s the sound of success. And it all starts with the right engine.
The right engine for unique sonic character & performance is key to achieving the signature sound that will grab attention and turn heads. Otherwise, all you’ll end up with is a generic noise that might as well be coming from any other car on the road. That’s not what anyone wants, and it’s certainly Road Two – Review of Spitfire Audio & Abbey Road Studios Iconic Strings
