Tiptop Audio Launches ZVERB, ECHOZ and the Z5000

ZVERB, ECHOZ and the Z5000 are powerful stereo DSP effects modules in a compact 8HP panel. Although the only 8HP in size, all controls are immediately available with clear labeling, making them quick, comfortable and easy to use. Each button accesses a bank of different effects types for up to 24 effects per module.

ECHOZ

ECHOZ is an FX module fully dedicated to time-delay effects from emulation of tape echoes to early digital delays to complex multi-fx units. 24 different programs cover a wide range of options and internal signal path structures.

ZVERB

ZVERB has 24 different types of effects available ranging from typical reverbs to more complex effects that combine delay and pitch shifting with reverb. The eects are grouped by decades based on either the era an algorithm or device was introduced or the time when the eect was most popular.

Z5000 – Multi-Effects module

The Z5000 is a Multi-Effects module, it provides 24 effects that include reverbs, delays, modulation, pitch and harmonizers. The effects in the Z5000 were carefully selected to provide both commonly used delay and reverbs and also some unusual sounding and experimental effects.

These effects are a blend of newly developed programs and ones carefully selected from Tiptop’s library of hundreds of effects created over 10 years for the classic Z-DSP processor module. While the effects algorithms play a major role in making these modules sound impressive, an internal analog clock circuitry drives the DSP chip adds to the lush and warm audio processing. With ZVERB, ECHOZ and the Z5000, Tiptop Audio effects have never been so accessible.

ZVERB is a collection of all-new reverb algorithms developed by Tiptop ranging from typical reverbs to more complex effects that combine delay and pitch shifting with reverb. The effects are grouped by decades based on either the era an algorithm was introduced or the time when the effect was most popular. This variety of reverbs covers small to epic size spaces with the addition of shimmering, feedback tunneled pitch shifting, tape delay drivers, gated reverbs and a lot more. Analog clocking of the DSP chip and CV over the parameters enables even more experimentation. This is a collection inspired by the best from the past right at your fingertips.

Eurorack Live Patch Explained – Drums and Samples

Hey there! This is the second video of a three-part series explaining the patch on my eurorack modular synth for live performances. This time we’ll have a look at the parts of the patch responsible for drums and sample playback. Next week we go over how I clock and mix everything.

My Eurorack Case

Hey there! I finally decided to make a few videos in which I talk about my setup, process, and making live music with a modular system. I wanted to start with a simple overview of my main Eurorack cases and the modules I use. Soon we’ll have a look at my sampler case!

In the near future, I’ll upload a few videos with an in-depth look at my live patch and some performance tips and tricks. I also plan to make a few “track from scratch” videos, so stay tuned! There is a lot of great information out there already, but if you would like me to cover more synthesis or modular basics, or if you have other ideas, please let me know in the comments!

Sonic Adventures | 0-coast, Arbhar, Mimeophon, ZVERB, Phonogenes

Sonic Adventures | 0-coast, Arbhar, Mimeophon, ZVERB, Phonogenes

This one features a 0-coast ‘patch from scratch’ and some sound design for games & movies. I’ll use modern modules like Arbhar and Mimeophon to layer the sound of 0-coast, but a simple drone from 0-coast can be seriously enhanced with the affordable ZVERB and two old Phonogenes who can now run in two independent channels, providing a sonic power that can’t be easily achieved by the modern stuff.
