Arpology based on Sample Logic’s Step Animator™ (Affiliate Link) is an arpeggiator driven Kontakt instrument released in 2014 by Sample Logic. The included Step Animator engine animates the generated sound over time and allows you through creative controls to further shape the arpeggiator.
Beyond the arpeggiator, you also have access to a comprehensive selection of instrument crossing all genres and sound types (Cinematic / Organic, Electronic / Effectual, Percussive): choirs, woodwinds, brass, strings, world instruments, sound effects, various field recordings, industrial tools, machinery, synths, and more. The sampled instruments and sounds have been hand-picked from existing (now earlier) sample sets from previous products. The selected sounds and instruments have been further changed to make them unique. As a result, Arpology includes over 550 Instruments and Multis.
When you find a pattern you like you can also simply drag the last pattern you played into your host program’s MIDI track and use it there, combine and use the pattern it with additional instruments you have in your template. The midi drag function allows you to double Arpology patches in your DAW with other instruments, for example, a synth.
