Citrine by Heartwood Soundware Review
REPRO5 Citrine is a sound collection of 111 patches for u-he’s Repro-5. You need to obtain Repro-5 which is a separate own optimized to polyphony version of a Prophet-5.
Heartwood Soundware did send a review copy with no strings attached.
Installation
You copy the presets into the default folder of Repro-5, when starting Repro-5 the patches are available to load.
Sound
Citrine sound set for Repro-5 concentrates on patches used in electronic and cinematic tracks. Beating basses, growling drones, moving atmosphere and pads plus scoring leads and keys. For the composer, Citrine is useful in various ways and works in many moods. According to the producer, the included Citrine patches and sounds are motivated by the sparkling cinematics of Cliff Martinez, Clint Mansell, and Jon Hopkins.
User interface & Usability
It is the Repro-5 UI, great design very flexible to use.
