Capturing the Sweet Acoustic Textures – Viola
In short and neutral acoustics, without any concession choosing the gears, the 2904 samples were recorded on a 1941 Ernest Ledler viola with an italica backplate, then treated with the greatest care in terms of instrument sound.
Sweet Acoustic Textures – Viola is perfect for you if you require the warm tone of the viola in your compositions or want to create unheard acoustic textures. With this virtual instrument, you’ll have everything you need to add some new life to your music!
Traditional Virtual Instrument Plus Random Acoustic Textures Generator
Sweet Acoustic Textures – Viola also offers a random acoustic textures generator, which can be really useful in creating unique sounding tracks. With this generator, you can create new acoustic textures on the fly without worrying about the details. This can be a great way to experiment with new sounds and come up with creative ideas.
These sound sets are compatible with standard key switches and can be activated automatically by a texture generation algorithm specifically developed for this set.
The possibilities offered by this instrument are polyphonic, allowing you to pick the approaches, their density, spatialization, and authorized velocities. Because the textures are dry, you may apply any reverb, delay, harmonics, or compression to them that you like.
When applied to the analog compressor, multichannel output allows you to choose the exact length of each channel—and thus the overall length of any effects that are sent out through all channels.
15 Classic, Less Common, and Unheard Playing Techniques
It contains technics on 15 standards, uncommon, and unheard playing methods such as harmonic bisbigliando, flautando sul ponticello.
Sweet Acoustic Textures – Viola also offers a variety of playing techniques that you can use to create unique sounding tracks. With this virtual instrument, you’ll have everything you need to add some new life to your music!
Some of the techniques you can use include harmonic bisbigliando and flautando sul ponticello. These techniques produce unique sounds that can add interest and variety to your tracks. Try them out and see what you can create!
Ernest Ledler Viola
The best 2904 examples were captured on a magnificent Ernest Ledler viola with an Italica backplate in short and neutral acoustics, with no concessions made to the gears. Ernest Ledler was born in 1941 in Vienna, Austria. His music often features Sweet Acoustic Textures, which give it a unique and beautiful sound.
Sweet Acoustic Textures – Viola UI
The interface is structured around four categories:
- the instrument mode (1)
- the technique control channels (2)
- the settings (3)
- the microphone position and output settings (4)
The Texture Gen. function is used as a texture generator in instrument mode, while the Classic Instr. an option is used as a traditional virtual instrument.
The Texture Generation mode supports the note density and velocity. The most crucial parameter when creating texture is density. If you don’t want to clog up the sound region, avoid setting the Note Density of long methods too high. When creating texture, you may restrict the authorized velocity range for each method by using Velocity. When you choose Texture Gen. mode in the Mode menu, the Note Density and Velocity knobs appear only, while the Pan control offers various possibilities.
