This Kontakt library includes beyond 1,000 sampled sounds. All have been very detailed programmed and organized in easy-to-use construction kits. Trailer Xpressions aims to make it easy to find that excellent sound for the next trailer or cinematic score.

Trailer Xpressions contains 26 Kontakt cinematic construction kit Instruments, based on more than 4GB of samples. TRAILER XPRESSIONS requires the full retail version of Kontakt (from Native Instruments) Version 5.6.8 or higher and will not work with the free Kontakt Player.

Sample Logic included their proprietary mastering effects called “Energizer” and “Polisher.” I would also like to see these effects incorporate future products from Sample Logic.
These effects allow you to apply dynamic and dramatic sound shaping. The Energizer brings an edge to the sounds, while the polisher adds a final enhanced sparkle. All effects can be managed through Midi which you can automate in your DAW.
Installation
After purchase, you receive the needed codes to download the library with the help of the Continua App. I did use over the years the Continua tool to download many products and found these an easy and convenient way to download, even more, extensive libraries.
You download the library and install it in your usual Kontakt library location. As the next step you should or better must do a “batch re-save” in the full version Kontakt (free player-version of Kontakt is not supported) to assure that the library loads at normal speed Kontakt. As the library is a free Kontakt library, there is no need to register the library before use.
User interface & Usability
The library comes with an easy-to-use interface and allows you to mark sounds as favorites to find them later again. You can also use the included effects to mangle further and change the sounds.

To capture and process similar sounds you would need the experience and invest time and money which would not allow you to finish your next paid assignment. To give some perspective on the included content. To capture similar sounds and effects you would need to record for months in the field, process the captured sounds, have the required (and expensive) equipment with the necessary experience combined with the in-depth know-how to generate similar results.
