Pendleonium³ by Sound Dust Review
Pendleonium³ is a hybrid instrument library built from different guitars, devices, with some mixed in Tape Echo and spring reverb. The name is originating in the need to call it something, a typical Pendle choice.
Sound Dust is the brainchild of Pendle Poucher, a Brighton UK based composer, sound designer and lover of funny noises. Sound Dust did send a review copy with no strings attached. Sound
Pendleonium³ shines when you compose and need outstanding sounds, pianos, strings, smooth synth-like pads, noises, and mysterious noises. Pendle describes the sound ofPendleonium³ as seismic movement and deep rich textures at the lower register and in high registers like ripples passing through mercury. (!)
Sound Dust recorded several instruments, a Baritone Guitar, a Tape Baritone Guitar, Fernades Sustainer Infinite Guitar, and a Spring Viola. Recorded through various amps (Laney VC15 valve amp), chorus (Roland Chorus Echo RE501), and spring reverb (Vermona RetroVerb).
Sound Dust has mangled and sound design the sounds in an outstanding way, you still can use third-party plugins to give it some additional color and shape the sound with some effect plugins. The company includes the commons insert effects like dirt, eq, rotor, master algorithmic reverb, delay, and algorithmic reverb.
To show off what is possible with the content provided there are instrument snapshots included (45) – use them as a starting point to create your own sound.

User interface & Usability
Like with other Sound Dust libraries the Interface makes sense, is common across several products and looks clean. The designed Interface is notable user-friendly to use.
The way these instruments works is that you mix five layers of guitar/string sounds with some charming and lush effects implemented. Through mixing the different instruments you get a lot of possibilities. Some single instruments are worth the expense alone as you get for example an infinite guitar, drones, and pads which are great if you need one to add to your mix or have it as an underscore element.
Rating: Five out of five stars
Pendleonium³ has a lot of character and is a charming hybrid instrument fitting in many genres. This instrument has high versatility. You get drone and pad sounds with a dusty, dirty, guitary, stringy, loopy, wobbly charm. There are some signature sounds included that remind you of favorite TV Shows. This library shines when must produce profoundly unique music and is an excellent base for your own sound design.
