Beatmaker VOID
UJAM releases VOID, a Drum & Bass-centric new member of its Beatmaker series. With VOID, the Beatmaker series expands to musical genres that are based on breakbeats and heavy syncopation such as liquid, jungle, and Neurofunk. VOID provides the tools to create custom beat arrangements without the need for samplers, sequencers or beat slicing.
The Beatmaker series has three more titles: DOPE for classic Hip Hop inspired by the 1990s, EDEN covering electronic dance music styles, and HUSTLE for contemporary urban genres like Trap. Patterns, fills and breakdowns for Beatmaker are created by renowned specialist sound designers for each genre.
Think of UJAM Beatmaker as a toolkit filled with a limitless arsenal of tools. For each groove there is a wide array of variations that help turn your song into a dynamic piece of music. You can use one of the less complex variations (phrases) at the start of a song. After eight or sixteen bars you may want to add a fill to a busier phrase. As the song grows, you emphasize the dynamics by changing phrases and/or tweaking other controls (Sweep, Ambience, Mix, mod wheel intensity etc.).
Beatmaker VOID is immediately available in VST, AU, AAX plug-in formats for both macOS and Windows.
Beatmaker VOID features a collection of drum samples, ready-made patterns, mix presets and genre-specific effects including the custom Vortex algorithm. There are no hidden menus or obscure controls, making quickly constructing complex drum patterns quick and straight-forward, even for novices in the genre.
