Patchworx 131 comes in the form of dirty and phat Grime sounds for Xfer’s Serum soft synth, designed by industry heavyweight Proxima! This selection includes heavy basses, twisted synths, dark pads, colourful FX and much more, all meticulously crafted through the scientific sound design mindset developed over many years by Proxima. You’ll ensure your next beats are rough, rugged and tough using these sounds.
Proxima has been involved in music most of his life. His first endeavours as a producer in Drum and Bass quickly got attention, leading to releases on labels such as Shogun Limited, Play:Musik, and Verse’s Crunch. He’s also had Dubstep tracks signed by the mighty Tempa and received massive support from DJ Youngsta.
Proxima’s ‘techier’ tunes have gained a lot of support as well. This has led to releases on renowned labels such as Blackout Music and Neodigital. The latter, run by pioneers Phace and Misanthrop, recently released Proxima’s “Ruff Scuff” EP, a four tracker that made it into the top 5 of the Beatport charts. Proxima continues to show what he can bring to the table, raising the bar with every release. He will be hitting hard, and he’ll be hitting swift: he’s always one to watch.
