A source of inspiration
Quadral is a source of inspiration. Using Soundiron 16 categories of hand-crafted atmospheric synth pads, you may randomize your way to your next favorite score. Using Soundiron’s Ouroboros modulation engine, combine quadrants to generate three-dimensional organs, distinctive sounds, or changing textures. The sound has been constructed with attention to allow you to combine layers into creative new presets.
Four quadrants
The primary user interface is made up of four quadrants, each with its own XY Pad, quick modulator, and filter routing menus, as well as an arpeggiator system to help you grow your creative horizons. Attack, Release, Offset, Pitch, and Pan are all independently customizable features in Quadral’s layers.
Every quadrant has its own individual filter. You can choose what type of filter you want, and you can change the volume, pitch, pan, or resonance of the sound.
The central XY Pad
However, by default, the central XY Pad serves as a volume control between the four layers. The number of FX varieties and parameters accessible is limited only by your imagination. Each axis may be modified to influence a distinct aspect and can be used to control filters or a select amount of FX choices.
The XY Pad’s rhythms can also be altered automatically in a rhythmically sensible manner, thanks to dynamic motion. You may also restrict the X and Y ranges to make distinct tones and tone fluctuations.
You can set up dynamic patterns with the Soundiron integrated ARP arpeggiator system, featuring a suite of abilities like rhythm, direction, swing, and randomization. The easy Glide feature is also included, instantly turning this machine into a monophonic legato/portamento instrument with adjustable pitch bend speed control. All parameters can be modified and automated with complete control over every aspect, or you may simply hit the Random button to produce an infinite number of new sound, parameter, and dynamic modulator combinations unpredictably.
The left and right Macro knobs to the XY Pad are used to change the volume LFO depth and speed parameters using a single control if Volume LFO routing is enabled.
Quadral Factory Presets
With over 200 factories presets in six categories, Quadral has something for everyone. The Preset Browser can be used to quickly peruse presets. You may also save new patches you’ve created or share presets with other users using the browser.
Last but not least, don’t forget to turn on the FX rack display and load your synth with hundreds of DSP effects, including convolution reverbs with over 100 of Soundiron’s unique real-world and specialty FX spaces to polish your sound.
Modular FX rack panel
The interface is completed by the Soundiron modular FX rack panel, which comes with 18 different DSP effect modules that you can assign to any of 10 available slots, in any order you choose. The feature that separates this product away from the competition is its massive amount of plug-ins. You’ll find classic phaser, flanger, delay, distortion, amp and cab simulators, compressors, EQs, rotary effects, and much more.
