There are few composers in the world who can match the power, creativity, and aggression that modern scoring demands. For them, Symphonic Destruction is their secret weapon. Created by Heavyocity, it’s a sonic deconstruction of the orchestra—rebuilding it from the ground up to push the bounds of power, creativity, and aggression in modern scoring. The samples all come from real performances by professional musicians and are recorded with state-of-the-art equipment; they can be chopped up, looped, mangled, distorted, tuned down, or pitched up—or used as they are.

One of the first things any music student learns is that you have to know both your strengths and weaknesses because it’s even harder to fix your weaknesses than it is to play what you already know how to play. The same holds true for any musical artist, but especially composers. One way to discover what your weaknesses are is to have someone else compose music in front of you.

The orchestra was dismantled—reassembled from the ground up to push the limits of power, creativity, and aggression in contemporary music. Visceral sound design. The gnarliest Braams you’ve ever heard, for sure.

The power of Symphonic Destruction lies in its innovative layering system, which allows the user to create complex, multilayered sounds with numerous velocity levels. Create crushing drum hits, slamming staccato, brutal stabs, and ominous drones with ease. From haunting pianos to roaring basses to screaming brass—even an entire symphony orchestra—Symphonic Destruction gives you the tools to unlock your creativity and launch it into high gear.

The sounds are also much brighter, louder, and more aggressive than those typically produced by a traditional symphony orchestra. All of the samples have been EQ’d, sculpted, processed, and tuned specifically to place them firmly in the face of any listener. You’ll have plenty of room to stretch out and explore your own musicality.

Innovating The Future Of Cinematic Sound Sound With A Difference

Traditional and hybrid orchestral instruments are combined with synths and Symphonic Destruction offers an extensive toolkit for both modern scoring and sound design.

The two-part library Symphonic Destruction library is, in fact, a duology. Composers may choose from a variety of instruments in Kontakt. Each mode has its own unique sound library and effects engine, which is designed to work together with the other engines in delivery.

Custom-designed sample engines that allow you to create and combine different layers of sounds, loops, and effects are available.  Performers that use multi-sampled instruments are grouped together by playing styles or articulations in a more conventional manner.

Do I Need to Learn a New Ui?

The user interface of ‘Symphonic Destruction’ is similar to that of other recent Heavyocity products such as Damage 2, Novo, or Forzo. If you utilized those libraries, you’ll be at home with this new library in no time.

The library includes four distinct sample engines known as “Designers,” each of which covers a different aspect of the overall sample content, as well as specific sets of controls and operations.

The Designer of ‘Symphonic Destruction’ is a 3-layer sample engine that allows you to adjust the library’s sampled sounds from one easy interface. You may group layers and select a sound source from the library to each of them. The tones are classified into different tonal categories.

Dynamics Controls

The Dynamics controls’ main focus is on modulation and time effects in the interface’s centerpiece. The Dynamics Knob is linked to the ModWheel (MIDI CC1), so you may easily change the instrument’s volume or intensity using your MIDI controller.

Symphonic Destruction was developed for Kontakt which is a software sampler created by Native Instruments. Symphonic Destruction supports both the free and paid versions of Kontakt (6.6.1 and up) and includes full NKS integration.

Bigger than Live

Once again and in the typical style of Heavyocity this library includes epic and powerful instruments. Heavyocity has once again delivered when it comes to size. Almost everything here sounds enormous and over-the-top, exactly as you would expect from Heavyocity. Symphonic Destruction gives you a lot of various sounds and samples to play with. Also, the overall quality of the sounds is top-notch, making it a versatile choice for any composer or producer. The attention to detail in the heavyocity symphonic destruction library is evident, with every instrument meticulously recorded and processed to perfection. Whether you’re scoring an action-packed film or creating intense electronic music, Heavyocity’s Symphonic Destruction has everything you need to make a big impact.

Symphonic Destruction is a wonderful fit for modern, sound design-oriented trailer music, Ad, game, and electronic music. I did recently thought about adding some Heavyocity to some YouTube music, just be careful that while it is fun then beefy low- and high-end warmth may not work all the time.

You can create epic cinematic music with this library, but also if you are in need for some more dangerous-sounding audio material. Symphonic Destruction is very flexible and can be used in many different ways; even beyond the world of music production. The only thing that might limit your creativity here would probably be your own imagination!

Mix and Match Epic

Use as the Heaviocity examples are showing different mixes and mics to set some of the sounds into the background to give some right in your face sounds the room needed to sound epic and grandiose.

Symphonic Destruction is a massive, powerful library that will give you the tools to create incredible music in virtually any genre – from trailer music to EDM or even cinematic orchestrations! The price point may be high for some people but the guys at Heavyocity have done it again with another great-sounding product.

Is This a Production Library for Producers and Composers?

Producers and composers may choose from a variety of instruments in Kontakt.

The user interface of ‘Symphonic Destruction’ is similar to that of the original libraries. The tonal qualities of Symphonic Destruction’s instruments are categorized into four groups: Epic, Warm, Bright, and Cold. These various types of sounds can be used for different music genres such as trailer music compositions or some EDM tracks production.

If you want to bid and hard, you’ll need a library that supports those ideas. The name of the game is Symphonic Destruction. This library is all about aggression, saturation, and evil. Heavyocity’s typical style shines through once again.

I’m loving the Symphonic Destruction patches. They’re particularly well-suited to my tracks, as they create a gorgeous gritty mess of epic proportions. The sounds from these patches are amazing.

Rating:  Five out Of Five Stars

The Heavyocity Symphonic Destruction is an exceptional product. It gives you the ability to be creative with orchestral sounds in a way that other libraries can’t do. I like how this has really high-level, processed articulations which are useful for trailer music composition. The only downside I notice with this library is that it’s not ideal for all genres of music production. If you want to be creative with your orchestral sounds, then get the Heavyocity Symphonic Destruction.

The library is adaptable and may be utilized in a variety of ways far beyond music production. It’s doubtful it’d hinder your creativity since, with this sort of sound, it might not always work. Symphonic Destruction is a huge, powerful library that will help you create amazing music in almost any genre: from trailer music to EDM or dark soundscapes. With a little creativity, you’ll undoubtedly impress your listeners with Symphonic Destruction.
