macOS Catalina Compatibility is currently a big issue
Apple has released macOS 10.15 – “Catalina” – in October 2019. This major update includes more impacting changes than previous macOS releases. You may have already noticed a software manufacturer suggesting to update your operating system for compatibility reasons.
Update or not to Update
Currently as of October 2019, I absolutely suggest remaining on your current version of macOS until the software you use has been modified for use on Catalina. One mayor changes that are introduced by Catalina that it will no longer support 32-bit applications. Good reasons to update to Catalina are for example if there are security issues only Catalina addresses.
